If this was just an extra 0.5 amp hours over the original, I don't think that alone would warrant the extra price, but the plastic casing is a real upgrade over the original, much better quality, I personally won't buy anymore standard batteries now these are out.

Unreal battery. Huge difference from the standard to the high output version
Good battery lasts much longer than the standard 2ah, built some bolt together racks using battery wrench and still has the full charge! Also toolstation were cheaper than anyone else.
You need high output batteries, it's not worth buying any of the older non high output cells unless you're running non Fuel tools. Fuel stuff runs longer, faster and cooler with these so it's worth the outlay
Purchased the 2.5 amp for my new cut off tool as my 1.5 amp I already had were not powerful enough. The 2.5 amp is soo much better and was a great buy.
