I bought this to use with my CLL-C green Milwaukee line laser level. I thought I was being stupid, I couldn't for the life of me, get it to pick up the line. Before I returned it, I called the Milwaukee helpline. They were very helpful and fast to answer (unlike their email, still heard nothing there...)
They put me on hold and consulted their laser specialist who had to admit that the marketing is wrong, they are aware of the issue and are pushing the correction out as we speak.
Don't shoot the messenger here, but they told me that it's only compatible with the USB rechargeable version. I find this hard to believe, surely it must work with the M12 stuff too? But definitely not the AA powered one.
Well, this annoyance just after my £30 Milwaukee tape measure split right down the middle, I think I'm done with Milwaukee. I'll let the DIY influencers fill their boots, I'll go back to old faithful brands.
