Epitomising superior cutting edge technology, this holesaw set features a type Matrix II premium high-speed steel in the toothed area, comprising of a staggering 8% cobalt. Such a composition assures the retention of tooth hardness even at high working temperatures, particularly crucial during metal cutting applications. The teeth are alternate side set for minimal binding and friction, requiring less feed pressure and is laser welded onto a high alloy steel body before being vacuum hardened to 65 HRC at 600°C, characterising Milwaukee's dedication to guaranteeing tool longevity and dedication. The rigid 1.27 mm thick steel body exhibits more than just mould retention; it also boasts built-in elasticity for enhanced versatility, offering an effective sawing depth of 41 mm. The backplate, constructed from thick steel, assures that the holes will not enlarge over time, contributing towards strength, rigidity and reducing vibrations.
