Great value drill bit
Made drilling Ceramic tiles easy
Great piece of kit if used correctly, highly recommended
Great product, made light work of accurately drilling through 22mm thick porcelain slabs
Works very well, I bought a cheap bit first which broke before i drilled my first hole. This sailed through 4 holes in ceramic tiles with ease.
Good quality product, works well on porcelain or ceramic
Who doesn't hate drilling porcelain tiles 💩?
This tile bit works well but dulls quickly, first hold will drill porcelain reasonably quickly but noticeable slow down with each subsequent hole.
All high quality All cut down the time it took to drill tiles
Done what I wanted with a bit of a struggle, plumber turned up and used cheap tile bits and made it look easy
Have just finished using this drill bit having drilled 12 holes in 9mm porcelain wall tiles. I was sceptical at first with mixed reviews but felt I needed to write my own review to help others. So it says use a high speed electric drill, I used a DeWalt cordless but on high speed. It says no lubrication required. I tried it without as per spec but found a spray of water periodically helped massively and probably prolonged the drill bit life. After a few holes I experimented in the sense with a small circular motion with the drill. This helped use more of the diamond tips but obviously made the hole marginally bigger, not a problem though. DO NOT force excess pressure onto the tip as it will probably burn out, just be patient and let the bit do it's job. Overall excellent bit of kit but knocked it down 1 star on review due to cost. Hope this helps peeps, happy drilling.
Fast and easy, no need for a drill guide. Start cutting at 45 degrees, then proceed to move drill to a 90 degree position. Only done a couple of holes so far, and no sign of wear yet.
used on stone tiles, had to find a way to get started but once the surface was "dented" these worked fine....slowly...but got the job done eventually.....keep them wet frequently when in use
I bought a 6mm bit to drill holes in porcelin tiles. This performed satisfactorily for 9 holes & job was complete. I took it slow and steady using a high speed as per instructions. Starting was the hardest part of the job.
It was my first time drilling into tiles and this bit helped me do a good job with zero swearing. Only did four holes so can’t comment on longevity but it was ideal for my purposes.
The drill bit I bought was excellent—precise, reliable, and exactly what I needed. But what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff are not just friendly, but genuinely knowledgeable and eager to help. It’s that combination of quality products and exceptional service that keeps me coming back every time. Highly recommended.
Bought to replace a burnt out euraber diamond drill to drill 20mm porcelain floor tiles and the 20 holes it drilled were spot on and no problems with clogging.
Tried dry and wet drilling great bit of kit.
Excellent Drill bit, used on porcelain tiles, not easy to centre but fast and easy drilling.
This is the best tile drill I’ve used, high drill speed and fast even in grade 1 porcelain. I still dip the tip in water every so often to keep it cool but it cuts really quickly. Drilled ten holes for a shower enclosure in hard porcelain but shows little wear. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than some but worth it imo.
Worked really well and cleanly ground the required holes in porcelain slabs for a customer
Having burnt out 2 masonry bits trying to drill through tiles (slow speed with plenty of water for cooling), I purchased these and am very happy with the results, so far I have drilled 8 holes (Had to use my electric drill as its speed is faster, without water for cooling), and the drill bit is still useable. Well worth the money.
Best drill bit I’ve ever used on ceramic tiles. Just have to be patient with it
