Perfect for drilling hole in cavity wall for Fibre internet cable.
Went through a double skinned brick wall easily. Seems tough enough to last a long time.
Worked well , had to steady with hand initially but went through a very hard wall 350mm thick in 8 minutes .
Great product does the job well
Poor. Did not survive first hole through brick. Cutting end was fine but the body is weak and became distorted.
Poor quality diamond cutter not up to the job of drilling concrete, soft brick about its limit.
Good enough quality to do a few holes but I wouldn't think it will last too long..reflected in the price though.
Will not easily go through engineering bricks. Gave up.
A handy bit for old stone walls. Less percussion than a conventional bit. How long will it last ? long enough for me.
Great product for drilling long holes through toughened material would highly recommend
Purchased to cut through old very hard brickwork and works well with a clean cut
Bought this Core Drill to drill through a 300mm cavity brick wall! To pass through several CCTV cables. I was concerned about the damage inside and out breaking the brick. Needn't have worried! Drilled from outside straight through as there is no guide, took less than 1/2hr through old/hard brick. Dry and no hammer made it even cleaner. Steady pressure and just nibblrs its way through. Took a tip from a previous review and made a template/guide from some timber , about 38mm square and put a 30mm hole through the wood then 2 screws into the brick to hold the guide! No problem ! Saved me a load of time and mess
Thought this drill mightn't stand the pace but was able to drill round and remove 4 x 24mm anchor bolts from concrete with minimum fuss and drill still very usable!
Bought this product allowing me to drill a hole large enough to run network, power & media cables through a wall.... perfect for the job.
Right tool for the job and a premium product hence the price... but buy the tool once!
Bought this to core out x3 holes in standard house brick. The job was done with an SDS Drill and in accordance with the instructions on the box. The 3 holes took the best part of a morning to core out and then only when I cheated by running a 10mm drill through numerous times once the core drill had started. Would not advise anyone purchasing this, it was next to useless!
