Wry poor as the drill bit sullied is not long ent to go thought the core drill bits
I've used the 38mm and 117mm cores once each on brick and block cavity walls. No real issues using a conventional 750w drill at low speed. Not done this before so I can't compare against other bits. These did the job on hard brick, and seem like a reasonable price so I would recommend.
Solid bit of kit and outstanding value for money 👌
Great products at a great price. Can’t go wrong with them.
Have only used the 117mm cutter so far. Did the job okay, will know more when i come to use it for a second time. The outer skin of the wall i cut was engineering type brick it did the job okay but took loger to cut through.
I purchased this coring kit for a specific job and was able to core through 220 millimeters of engineering bricks. Being hard, coring through these engineering bricks was slow and time consuming but my standard SDS drill handled the job well. Having a clutch on the drill was useful as there were a couple of occasions when the bit jammed in the wall slipping the clutch but saving my wrist.
There were no particular signs of where to the cutting edge after the job and overall the kit feels like good value for money.
Tried to drill a 117mm hole in 109mm block the cutter really struggled, I’ll stick to Marcarist from now on
Very good bit of kit, the drill bit has disappeared though 🤷🏽♂️
Smaller size but got very hot and shattered - I used as described on a block wall. Disappointed
Good product drilled a 110mm hole in 120mm solid brick wall neatly for toilet pipe
Really well put together kit, does all the usual core sizes you would require on a daily basis
Looks like a good deal but mine out of the box was completely unusable. The centre 10mm arbour drill had a slight bend in it so the core cutter could not run true. Once the drill was replaced with true running drill it preformed good. The biggest problem with replacing the drill is it is an 'A' taper shank which are no longer commonly available.
Great product really easy to use, tool station super easy to order
Great sailed through was just brease block and concreate
Used the 50mm one once tocore through acavity wall, 2 of the teeth sheared off even on rotary withno hammer action as stated.
Just needed the 117mm to cut a hole through a two brick cavity wall for a new toilet waste pipe. Thought I buy the kit as it came with the sds adapters and bit. After about an hour, including time for cooling, it not through the first brick. It only has Five cutting tips and all the ‘diamond’ grit were gone. I’ve had to replace it with a real cutter, with eight cutting tips, bought from SF. Hopefully the attachments from this kit fit. My advice, you get what you pay for. Although at £70 you’d think you’d get better quality.
Good piece of kit. Does really well in cutting through.
Went straight though breeze block and brick no problem
Well packed kit comes with everything required does the job worth a buy
Good quality core set bought to replace an old set
