Fit the corer I had bought, great price good quality
Haven't been able to use it yet as it requires a Morse Taper pilot drill bit and I haven't found a suitable bit for the wall-depth core drill (28*300mm) I bought and I'll probably end up using a piece of wood with an 'ole in to hold it.
Main gripe is lack of this information. Who has Morse taper bits? (I do actually 😄, for my pillar drill, but they're all HSS, not masonry ). AIUI these adaptors are for core drills, not holesaws, and therefore need masonry bits - appropriate for the shorter core drills, even if not for a 300mm one. . Or a suitable guide rod (which I haven't been able to find either)

Only used once to drill 117 mm hole but so far so good
Purchased to replace broken one that came with a set. This outlasted the other one. 10 x 100mm holes drilled with no bending or problems.
Needed to buy a special tapered pilot drill to go with it
Needed for the core drill bit fitted in no time did the job
Taper kept loosing its grip on the drill bit, gentle persuasion with rubber mallet did the trick.

I bought this to replace the original one bought in a set from Aldi! Everything fitted fine but I did have to grind about 5mm off the length of the core drill so that it would fit this adapter.

Does the job and seems to be good quality. However the product description isn't clear that this ideally needs a separately sold taper drill to help centre your hole. Nor is it clear on the Toolstation website whether this is available and which particular product it might be
Bought as an adaptor to core a hole through the wall, whilst carrying out the work the adaptor snapped whilst inside the sds drill and I cant get it back out again - very disappointing I now have to buy another drill and find another adaptor to finish the hole. It was a very expensive mistake for me please don't make the same one
