Unable to use as it’s not machined straight. This caused the core drill to wobble and bind in the hole. Will be returning it.
If you think the pilot drill is going to lock into the taper then good luck. The pilot drill comes loose almost immediately even when not in hammer . Maybe mine was just badly machined but. Ever the less it seems a poor application for a morse (type) taper
Bought this to core through 110mm brick wall but it doesn't seem to have a locking bolt for the pilot drill. Managed to knock a 10mm masonry drill into it and then it did the job fine. Cut very well and easily (soft reds).
I bought this for a one off job great strong tool
