Did the job. Worked well, can't fault Toolstation as well. Got me out of the mire on a Saturday afternoon. Drill bit used in conjunction with a core drill. Worked well no problems. .
The drill was as expected but the Morse taper shank kept coming out of the female Morse of the arbor. If I need this as a professional I'd probably get peeved but it was a one off usage and good enough
The drill I was supplied was bent, consequently the core drill wobbled about and I was better off removing the pilot drill.
Drill bit and adaptor experienced a reluctance to stay together.
Needed a long tapered drill for a 52mm core bit to accurately follow a pre-drilled pilot hole across a corner brick wall, excellent product & price

Not happy with the drill bit. It came in a sealed container but the bit had clearly been used as it was still covered in brick dust!

When MARCRIST don't provide in their core drill bit set & dust extraction kit, Mexico pilot fits the job well.
A well made yet surprisingly cheap tapered drill bit. you need one this long if you are going to use a diamond core bit
Bought this as a pilot for the 400mm x 32mm core drill. It slips in the adaptor and is next to useless unless you drill a 10mm hole for it to follow when using the core drill. There has to be a better way of secoring this in the sds adaptor other than tapping it in with a rubber mallet?
I was happy they stocked this - rather obscure - tool. It enabled me to complete a very tricky job. Well done, Toolstation.
