Handy pilot vut for the core bits delivering clean results
Great drill bit. Was struggling with an old drill bit that I had had a few years which ended up burning its was through. After spending hours sweating I decided to bite the bullet and buy this. So glad I did as from here I flew through the remaining holes I had left with ease.
It’s a taper drill, doesn’t do much work, just gets the core started but easily lost in your kit. Would be better if it came with a drift pin but the tube it comes in is handy to prevent you losing it.
did the job i would have liked it to be 15mm longer , (not toolstations fault)
Does what it's meant to do and didn't go blunt after a few holes.
The core pilot drill does fit my core bit set but the tapered section is not long enough to appear in the removal driver slot so removing this pilot drill was very difficult to do. I did eventually get the drill out but it was not as easy as it should have been.

Well made. A useful and must use pilot taper to keep the main core drill in position for a clean cut hole. Price is decent too. I would happily recommend this taper.
Ideal for the coring job I needed done. Fitted well into the core bit adapter and proturded just enough to guide the core bit.

This was an ideal replacent for my missing core pilot bit.
Does what it says on the box, drills well and firs with no issues.

Works really well for a pilot bit keeps corer straight.
