I had a large quantity of slate pieces to separate from the compost it had become part of. This riddle did the job perfectly. I quickly ended up with the slate separated from the compost which I used as a soil improver.
Nice size riddle, you can't put to much in making to heavy, it will take time riddling the pile of earth i have.

This has been a totally brilliant product and has far exceeded my expectations. I had a need to sieve out some stones from soil down at my allotment.
It has been used far more than I originally intended, I have removed over 3 wheelbarrow loads of stones with it and so far the only sign of wear and tear is that the powder coat is only just beginning to wear off the mesh.
A truely impressive build quality.
Riddle does the job, just remember to load less than participated as its heavy. Also it was half the price of the same item in gardening centre.

Well built and not flimsy. Easily held the stones I was washing. And at a good price.
I needed to sieve out soil from the bottom of a hawthorn hedge, full of clods of earth, small stones, tiny roots and leaf fibres. The nature of the material means that 100% perfection can never be achieved, but this sieve was not far off. It is solidly made (much better than the one I had previously) and I am very pleased with it. The collection experience was also excellent. I walked in, handed the details to the assistant and it seemed only a few seconds before he presented me with the item.
Dug out roots, shifted soil onto pebbled garden when doing so. Realised later that I should have put something down on top of the pebbles. Needed something to sift the soil back out. This helped. Could have done with larger gaps between the mesh but this did the trick. Bought on offer so a few £ off.
