The Metabo 4.0Ah 18V Li-HDX Tabless Battery unleashes more power on your Metabo cordless power tools letting it reach its full potential with high output performance. Utilising tabless lithium-ion battery cells, the battery has been designed with less internal interference which allows for more power to flow to your tool. The result is an increase to the overload capacity and the tools speed. When like-for-like capacity batteries have been put on the same tool, the tabless battery makes a marked improvement in speed, performance and operation of the tool. Routers rout faster, drills drill faster, impact drivers drive faster, chainsaws cut faster.you get the picture. The battery, thanks to the tabless technology, runs cooler when compared to conventional batteries within the range. By doing so, it massively increases the lifespan and operational performance of the battery. The batteries are part of the Cordless Alliance System CAS of power tools and battery systems. This means that one battery is interchangeable between Metabo and other select brands that are part of the system. The Metabo ASC145 Quick Battery Charger charges LiHD, Li-Power Compact, Li-Power Plus and Li-Power Extreme battery packsand now Li-HDX Batteries The charger has monitored charging with microcontroller, the battery is charged with 2.5 ampere with constant monitoring of voltage flow, temperature flow and maximum temperature. The charger will stop the charging process as soon as the battery is full meaning there is never any over charging and the battery lasts longer.
