Used to blank off an unwanted outlet underground - worked well

Only relies on an O ring seal. It does not achieve a fully watertight seal and there is no way to tighten it. There are better fittings out there that can be tightened if it leaks.
Does exactly what it’s meant to do! Had to cap off a water pipe going to the end of the drive. Good price, easy to use and does the job!

this was used for a garden tap, the mdpe pipe was a few inches above ground,and was connected to copper pipe and garden tap all of which was removed.I have never fitted one before,(as usual these things dont come with instructions)seemed obvious! didnt know i needed the pipe liner inside so between turning the water on/off a few times and taking it off/on afew more times,because i hadnt fitted it correctly.persevered eventualy made it work,hopefully it will last the cold winter until im able to refit the tap

Good item to stop any contamination ,fitted MDPE 25mm pipe into house for mains left about a Metre for water board to connect fitted a stop end to prevent any contamination .
