An excellent item for what seems to be 5lb lead pipe where leadlocs wouldnt fit.
Couldn’t be easier to join 20mm plastic pipe to 15mm copper. Used to add an outside tap. Connected in 5mins.
I was using these for the first time and ran out off one fitting...tool fix came through with this one and it completed the job perfectly .
Purchased to direct old mains copper water supply but fitting is poor nigh on impossible to fit around pipe. When we did manage to fit a leak was present. Swapped for a JG Speedfit item which worked a treat.
Easy to use. All fine after a few months after install

purchased this to go from 1/2 Alkathene to 15 mm copper, reading previous reviews I can only imagine the design as changed as this worked fine for me, it is does take a lot of force to push onto the Alkathene but that can only be a good thing !!

the local plumbers merchant wanted about £80 and presented me with the most ridiculous load of plastic adapters and a massive plastic stop valve.
Basically it’s just 20 mm mdpe pipe to 15mm copper / PE pipe. It’s just described wrongly in the catalogue. Would be great if they did sell a transition fitting
Connected 1/2iron barrel to 15mm copper no problems! Just need to file down iron pipe so rubber fits. Does work!!!
