used this to change from a downpipe for W/Mch to use the spout , decided to get this 2 spout as may be getting a new dryer and maybe forced at some time in future for a pumped version. Also when fitted noticed it was adjustable

Used to adapt another McAlpine product, fit was easy and sturdy.
Needed a double waste for washing machine and dishwasher, this was I direct replacement for the existing and was swapped out in minutes.
MacAlpine the best waist fittings ever for reliability. As a kitchen fitter I use a lot of these & the potential call backs are massive on a U bend. Generally due to the nature of a u bend there's hot the cold water going throgh it all the time once fitted. Those white plastic nuts relax due to expation & contraction so offten they start to weep.
Often a sink will come with a bag of cheap associated waist fittings that usually leak very easily.
I'd rather budget for one often two of these as there much more reliable.
A day after fitting you'll still get a quarter turn on those nuts after the've relaxed but well worth it rather than being called back for a leak.

Great quality but it wasn’t the simple swap job I expected. The design means it won’t connect to the waste if it is at a height equivalent to a standard trap with minimum extension. I had to use a flexi connector to make it work (which I’ll eventually replace with adapted pipe work when I get time!).
Quality unit at right price and it was easily adjusted to fit waste
I have as yet not fitted the above so can only say MacAlpine are usually good.

Bought to replace an older version when updating the kitchen, need to make sure the correct metric or imperial sizes were used throughout- our original setup was a mess so decided to sort.
The double washing machine and dishwasher inlets were easy to fit. Remember to remove the internal blanking plugs, these are a neat way to close one or both inlets but have been known to be missed causing problems.
The chap at the desk was excellent . I had a plumping part that needed changing . He found the part checking first by opening the bag .
His knowledge was first class and when I got home it was what I needed .
Where Plumpstop was 1/10 , he was 10/10
