Excellent shallow trap, saves on space, easy fit, seals well.
Not great, it worked 50/50 the seal wouldn’t always snap shut and would let sewer gasses back into the bathroom so I returned it for a full refund.
Brilliant product. Solved what I thought was going to be a major issue in a restricted space
" I’ve been through two of these. Both leaked from the inspection cap.
Don’t waste your time or money. "
Good and slim. Good for wall hung sinks! No leaks and good quality. Other sites say that this leaks from the end but not experienced myself.
This was ideal to use on a new vanity unit as unlike most traps it isn't seen and leaves all the cupboard space clear to use.
Really good trap for basins where space is limited underneath it basin units with draws!
Decent product. Sceptical on how long it will self close
Very good for right spaces, excellent for vanity units
don't buy this waste fitting you can not stop it leaking
Really good trap for tight spaces. Leaves lots of space for drawers.
The only waste that I could use with the sink unit but was very expensive
Just the job for my vanity sink installation, easy to fit,was up and running in minutes.
As usual with this brand it’s well made kit. As Leo has an access port for cleaning the bladder - any buyers note it is essential to keep the bladder clean to ensure it works properly. So if you’re stuck with a basin arrangement that doesn’t allow for the standard p-trap or any other solution then this space saver is a product worth using.
I had to plumb in a bidet that only had an aperture at the rear for the trap, the water supplies and a pop up waste mechanism-so v. little room.
This trap enabled this to happen where a regular p trap wouldn't.
The added bonus was that being waterless, and a bidet being used infrequently, it wouldn't allow smells that would've come in a regular trap where the water evaporates. Win Win.
I spent ages looking for small bottle traps / u bends only to come across these which take up no room at all …no sawing of expensive cabinetry and cleans & simple plumbing it was for a double wash basin . Great find and it all works so very well .
Did the job perfectly. Great product at a good price.
Needed this in a vanity unit so as not to obstruct the drawer. Worked well and being McAlpine it should last.
Fitted a new sink unit with drawers. This trap was ideal for the job. No traps hanging down and waisting space.
The plumber botched the first waterless trap. It was not screwed to the bidet but used mastic to hold the trap in place. I assumed the trap was difficult to fit as it was a single long piece. I replaced it with a standard bidet trap but it makes a irritating popping noise when the seal is pulled. Finally I changed it to the waterless trap in conjunction with a straight connector to make up the correct length. This also provided sufficient adjustment for installation. I like the removable diaphragm for cleaning. I would assume that the diaphragm will require cleaning after a period of use to maintain its performance.
