My mums washing machines waste was bubbling up through her kitchen sink, I fitted this Admittance valve and it stopped. Very well made would recommend .
Seems well made, installed as extra air-intake in bathroom to stop bathtrap from emptying (the bath itself doesn't have a lot of clearance from the floor, so we can't install one directly to the it, so valve was installed where other things might be causing a vacuum), unfortunately it didn't have the desired effect, this was probably down to our bathroom set up rather than the valve itself.
Had trouble with a really annoying glug glug noise when water was running away from sink waste, this gadget solved the problem straight away
Quick and easy to install - I’ve used two of these on my en suite. Ready for pick-up immediately from store, with the usual quick and pleasant service. So far they’re working really well and the wastes from both basin & shower are quickly emptying without any noise or fuss.

Our en suite sink has gurgled since it was installed years ago. I always thought it was airlocked so came across this whilst doing a bit of research.

Very important bit of kit should be used on every waste pipe installation if you want the water to flow away smoothly and you trap to not gurgle and stay full of water.
