McAlpine Ventapipe 100 Air Admittance Valve with Solvent Weld Outlet for 4"/110mm soil pipe.
Valve diaphragm lifts, allowing air to be drawn into the system when it is subjected to negative pressure. On cessation of negative pressure the diaphragm returns to the closed position thereby preventing the escape of foul air into the building.
The valve is designed to open and close spontaneously when required thereby allowing a supply of air to adequately ventilate the system thus ensuring a smooth discharge.
A1 rated.
Air flow capacity of 19.4 l/s.
Replacement for broken Air Valve. This was a good tight tit on the existing soil waste vent pipe on top of the roof
Replaced one that was 15 years old, rubber washer failed
Total rubbish: I had to teplace this within three days.

Good product ,reasonable price
Replacing the air admittance valve with this one (previous one old and failed) has stopped the horrible smell and all good, except occasionally this value makes a lot of noise when sucking air into the system.
Haven’t used it yet but the part cake quickly and as specified. Good cheap service
