Bought this kit to fit to a customer's sink. Overall it's a good quality product and I managed to fit it without any leaks. However, it is only good for sink wastes up to 340mm apart. As I was working on an installation with a 390mm separation, I had to extend the horizontal section with a compression connector and another short length of pipe. I actually purchase a McAlpine 75mm extension, only to find it was not suitable for use as a horizontal extension - it would have worked as a vertical extension adjacent to the trap itself. My only other criticism relates to the fitting instructions. The kit comes with five fat O rings and two thin O rings, and there is no guidance on where the thin ones should go. I eventually worked out that the two thin seals go on the trap, with the fat ones on the other three joints plus those to the actual sink wastes.

Worked how it was supposed to do , good quality materials.

Ordered online and my item was ready for collection in what felt like seconds.

This did just the job, fitted easily and no alterations needed

Brought this and it's to short to connect two traps 375mm apart.
Had to go to howdens and by it from them
Pain in the backside.

Much easier to install than the previous kitchen sink trap

Buy this product over any other despite its higher price tag. You'll just get frustrated with the cheaper ones leaking and not having enough adjustments available to get the waste flowing away. You can cut the pipes to suit or slide the pipes into each other to create pretty much infinite positions. I changed my sink from a single to a bowl and a half type. The waste out through the wall was fixed and couldn't easily be altered, so I needed a kit to be able to be flexible enough to accommodate this and reach the output location. There was a cheap waste kit with the sink but after an hour of head scratching I dumped it in favour of the McAlpine kit. Glad I did, as it all fell into place afterwards

Great piece of kit. The one that came with a new sink was useless so bought the McAlpine - brilliant, easy instructions to follow. Minimal cutting to fit our sink - simple fits perfectly no leaks, compact and great quality. If you require a double trap kit then buy this. Great price too.

Moved into a new house and the sink was leaking and the dishwasher was not working. This was relatively easy to adjust and fit as DIYer. Alll that I needed was a hacksaw to shorten the pipework. Did not have to be too precises as you can slide some of the pipes to the correct length.

Always rely on McAlpine plumbing fittings, never have any issues with them. Top quality product.

This was easy to fit on having read all the reviews before I bought it. I was not disappointed no leaks and quite easy to fit. I would buy one again.

Bought to upgrade my under sink plumbing to accept the drain pipe from an added appliance. The kit contained everything needed to complete the job, and more. Well worth the money.

This is a great kit, easy to install and adapt to fit. Recommended over cheaper versions.

Good quality and easy to fit. All parts required supplied, just had to cut pipe lengths to suit.
