Bought a new sink with a posh waste. Unfortunately, it didn't line up with the existing waste pipe that went out the wall. Used a couple of these in different sizes to get them lining up.

Although this item seems to be made well enough, it is in fact over 1.5 inches and NOT 1". It is an extension and needs to be defined by how much it extends the original and it is incorrectly described. I contacted the manufacturer, McAlpine but they simply tried to justify their description when in fact they are simply wrong. If you want to extend a 1 1/2" BSP male thread by 1", DO NOT BUY THIS.
