Toolstation, can you correct the description of this product! Its 40mm to 32mm reducer! Not 1 1/2 to 1 1/4! Pipes go in it, no threads! Do be consistent and make it right!
Multifit pipe adapter easy to use and did the job for me
You would think that waste pipe sizes would be unified by now, but they aren't. The waste from my basin was 32mm and that needed connecting to a 42mm waste pipe. This compression adaptor fitting was perfect for the job. I just had to measure the distance accurately before cutting the pipe, fit the collars and gaskets to the two pipes, and tighten it all up.
Easy to do, no leaks, and finished in a couple of minutes.
