Quality product as you'd expect from Mcalpine and it fitted perfectly with our 40 year old plumbing.
Be aware the length of bath traps has increased from that of 40 years ago. See photo.

Good extra long trap. Solid build. Not flimsy. Would have given 5 but the waste connecting rubber grommet was insufficient for a seal so had to use some PTFE tape. Otherwise great. Good price.
Bought for a bath trap however there was insufficient space to fit it.
Waste pipe already there and too high causing connection an issue, either new hole or adapt then found this just the job.

Purchased this as direct same replacement for a leaking McAlpine Bath Trap. Went to fit & there was not enough room. When laid side by side with the old part (8 years) this replacement was both longer & taller. Having now opened the item to offer it up guess I will be unable to have a refund.
I had to purchase a McAlpine Shallow Bath Trap from your biggest rival to complete the job.

It is slightly larger than the one it replaced meaning I had to make a hole in the floorboard underneath it to get it in which was a bit annoying considering its a standard height bath, But its the usual mcalpine quality that you can rely on
Fit with no problems, tightened up OK with no leaks.
Good quality - gives you piece of mind knowing it'll not start leaking under a bath panel, fit and forget!
