Used to replace a cheaper alternative which began to leak around the seal. This one had much better seals. Worth paying the extra.
Solid, fells good, tested well. Expect it will do the job once everything finished and operational.

The Mc Alpine company products we find are very well made . We like this shower trap very much never had a problem with it , the only draw back is you have to use there offset bend that comes with the kit . If you need to come out straight you can't . & there is no part available

Just go straight to McAlpine for this type of product - great fit, no leaks, no call backs! Might seem expensive by comparison to the others, but so is diesel when you have to go back to a leaking Floplast alternative

Great product, you know what you get with McAlpine, much superior to the one fitted by my house builder.
Easy fit, although the waste pipe was longer than the existing one, due to the 135 angle, meaning shortening the waste pipe under the tray was required, which was a fiddly job. The trap itself is head and shoulders above the stock one received and fitted with the shower years ago. It actually works, and eradicates foul smells. Long overdue swap. Great product.
Although a bit expensive, it does the job. The one that came with the shower leaked, so I bought this from my local Toolstation - excellent
