Used with "McAlpine CWP60-SS 1 1/4" Sprung Basin Waste 1 1/4" which is shorter than a standard waste. Good quality and easy to fit

Simple and cheap extension for 1 1/4” sink waste. Used to replace an old sink waste with McAlpine sink waste which was little shorter on thread.

Used to adjust size of waste pipe. No leaks yet so it must work.
I purchased a new mixer tap that came with a pop up waste from a very well known auction website (e£@y) for my wash basin. It wasn’t stated that the pop up waste had a European size thread that’s just a fraction too small to fit a standard UK 32mm bottle trap. This MacAlpine 1.1/4 inch BSP coupling is what you need get a watertight connection between the two. Great for the price.
Thus product was recommended when I purchased a click clack plug have yet to install
I bought this because the instructions on the P trap said I needed one. I did not use this item but I can see it is a quality part should I need it in the future.

This adaptor is for a euro 32mm basin outlet x 11/4” British trap, most people don’t know there’s a difference but there is.

When I eventually found it, this little piece saved me having to buy a replacement bottle trap with a telescopic inlet adjustment. I'd replaced a tap on a cloakroom basin, then had had to replace the waste outlet with the supplied "click-r" outlet. Unfortunately, this was about 15mm shorter than the original. This piece allowed me to easily extend the existing bottle trap inlet to meet the waste outlet
