This part enabled me to fit the drain from the water softener I am installing. As this is being fitted alongside the down stairs toilet saving a lot of extra work.
I needed a toilet connection where I could connect sink waste in out new bathroom. After trying 3 versions of these, this particular one was the perfect fit for the space. All McAlpine products appear to be good quality, even though slightly dearer compared to others. Would buy again.
This and another McAlpine pan connector both disappointed in that the internal flexible push fit collar is so tight that lubricant is needed and the collar readily cotracts to slip off the WC pan spigot
I had to get another brand with a more flexible collar, without the incorporated vent and rerouted my installed vent pipework back to the localised 110mm Soil pipe.
Two redundant wc pan connectors later I resolved to avoid using any McAlpine pan connectors because of the overtight collar seals.
