Yes work well just make sure the pipe you are putting on is cleaned.
Great little boss connector, didn’t realise how good it was until I got it, try he picture looks like it hangs inside of the soil pipe a lot but I doesn’t so I will buy the a lot more often know as a trade plumber

This item fitted straight in to the clay soil down pipe with instant adhesive and sorted out the min or leakage that had occcured over time. :-)

The connector is great, no faults there. If you are thinking of using one, it connects well and fits tightly.
Now read carefully. DO NOT use a bi-metal hole saw for the job! I spent 2 hours trying to saw through about 3-4mm of cast iron with a bi metal hole saw without much progress at all. BUY A CARBIDE GRIT HOLE SAW! It'll cost about double of a good quality hole saw, bit it will save you hours of time.
This is the first time I’ve used this product . Wear I’m attaching it is in a really awkward position, this fitting made the joke very easy. Would definitely use one again .
There is always one voice of doom .... and today it's me. What ever I do , when tightening the fitting , it just jacks itself back out of the hole. I even bought a brand new 57mm holesaw. Never used one of these in 30 years and won't bother again.
