McAlpine 75mm Water Seal Anti-Syphon Bottle Trap with 1½" Multifit Compression Outlet to suit all plastic, copper and lead pipe.
The moulded internal sleeve of the connection, centres and supports the pipe. The Multifit and friction washers ensure a secure seal is made between the pipe and the wall of the fitting. When the compression nut is turned hand tight the best possible mechanical joint is complete.
Anti-Syphon Valve neutralises negative syphonic pressure, eliminating gurgling and a much quiter discharge is ensured.
Manufactured in polypropylene.

Looks good, well made etc. I actually took this back to change for a height adjustable one as I thought this one was. The height adjustable is easy to install and works well
These traps are a great way to avoid gurgling sinks and basins.
I ordered this item to try and combat a smell from the drain. I had read reviews that this item would eradicate the problem, unfortunately it had no effect whatsoever I am still getting smells from outside drain up through the plughole. Next step is to fit a 'P' trap which hopefully will work.
