Needed this to cover over central heating pipes, did exactly want I wanted. Great product and great price.
I bought this to cove a water pipe from floor to ceiling. The original homeowner had not, for whatever reason, secured the pipe with clips. So I was able to coax this around the pipe. I had initially tried to fit the flat removable panel to the wall with double sided tape and hoped to attach the rest to it but this didn’t work so the easiest was to slide one side of the cross section behind the pipe and secure it, and then fit the flat section to it sideways on.
Does its job perfectly satisfactorily but it is a little flimsy compared to other brands. I would buy again if in a rush and other brands were all next day.
It's more prone to distortion on uneven surfaces and with high loads which makes the cap a little fussy to clip on. Not as responsive to the usual - pinch, hold, and a good thump - that works with other brands.
Robust and good quality trunking was ideal for running in cables to consumer unit
Poor quality and poor fitting lid.
The lid just ‘pushes through’ when you try to snap it into place.

Caters for all those otherwise loose cables. Fix the trunking in place and then route all your cables via the trunking. Cables subsequently accessible for future developments.
Bought 3metre length of white plastic maxi trunking good price good quality the only drawback was Toolstation doesn’t sell the accessories such as right angel internal and external bends and end caps , so I had to fabricate my own , which was ok just prolonged the job slightly .
maxi trunking is what it is, plastic trunking , it did my job of hiding the foam insulation on central heating pipes. i didn't need the capping, i just snapped the main 'U' section over the foam

Bought this trunking to hide and protect cables in an under stair cupboard coming out of a consumer unit. Easy to cut with lid on.
The trunking is okay BUT they dont sell the end caps or 45 degree sections

Just beware the plastic is quite flimsy. Where I’ve mitred two 45 angles to turn a corner, the trunking isn’t ridged enough in itself to hold the corner tight together. The weight of 4 or 5 cables inside can easily pull the corner “apart”, leaving a very visible gap. This can be dealt with if you’re happy using some tape on the inside of the trunking, for example.
