Great product. I’ve bought a few. Very easy to install and use.
I wanted a push button safe to make it easier for some users. This is a solid unit, but in my opinion has an issue. Because it is push button, any combination of the selected buttons will activate the lock. For example, if the chosen code was 12345, then the safe could be opened by selecting 13524. I'm not sure what the chances of this happening are in reality, but now that I realise it, I fear it will happen.
Good strong casing but code mechanism exposed when box open and vulnerable to damage. Code must be re- entered to close door
Easy to install and more secure than the common twiddly - dial style of key safe, because with those, you're dependent on the last user to set the dials and not leave them showing the code.
Good product, but one drawer back is, if you have normal keys & a Yale rear door keys then the internal section is not big enough it needs to bee deeper and a bit more wider to accommodate larger sets of keys that"s the only problem
Easy to fit, easy to use and secured our keys for anyone authorised to access them.
Excellent product easy setup and easy for grandparents to use
I am very happy with the key safe. It works well and was very easy to install and set the code etc.
Nice product but the key pad is so bulky that there is little room left for more than one key. It wouldn’t close with a car flip key and others that are in the illustration.
This is so simple to set up and to use, easier than the tumbler variety, and easier for fingers that are old and stiff. the only down side is the numbers you set will not be sequential so 123 could also be 321,231, 213 but you can select non or all of the keys.
There is also a hook for the key/s which you will find taped to one of the leaves of the pocket where the screws and instructions are found which you have to install yourself.
Had to replace the old one for a neighbour who had not locked the tumblers on the now unopenable key safe which meant they moved and could not now open it, had to destroy it to get the key out.
This key safe is very easy to set up and use, and helpfully has a key hook, which will keep the keys upright making it easier to close afterwards. As a carer who has fumbled with many key safes out there I have 2 pet peeves that make key safes hard to use... combination dials that stick and keys that fall forward when you try to close the unit. This key safe has none of those... it is push button, so the number is easy to input single-handed and the key hook. Great value for money.
You need to be patient taking the item off the packaging with a knife as the zip ties are close to the holes of the lock and the backing. Once removed, you then need to tear the rear label off to reveal the two flaps, one has the fixings and the other the hook for the key. It certainly lives up to it's purpose as you could just mount it in it's packaging! Anyway, the item is solid, easy to fix on wall and works a treat. Just the job.
Easy to fit , screws cheep ones, buy your own decent screws and wall plugs.
Fantastic product strong and easy to fit, easy to use
Awkward to use, especially in the dark, as have to keep ''clearing'' the numbers before it can be opened OR closed.
Lock is very well built and keypad never fails. Only issue is when you unlock it you have to put the code back in to lock it again. Just a small personal annoyance and has nothing to do with the quality of the lock.
Easy to use & seems watertight & sturdy. Screws for wall mounting are provided but no wall plugs.
The lock is OK but has cheap screws with it I had to replace the screws!
Exactly as it says on the tin Well worth it…………………………….
Very easy to fit and great value for money. very discrete
