Best exterior tape if your painting outside give you nice line
Unlike other reviews I didn’t find this had good adhesion. Used it on clean stonework inside and it just would not stick at all. It wouldn’t stick on internal brickwork either. In the end used normal masking tape, which held better. Worked ok on normal surfaces but no better than the budget stuff. I can’t recommend this product for irregular surfaces.
Its masking tape. It is what it is. It is, however, much better than some of the budget offers, and is a pleasure to use.

This stuff sticks like the proverbial to a blanket. However be aware that there are consequences, and this demonstrates very well why there is a market for low-tack tape as well. I was doing some work on a rifle stock, the stock had been treated with a finishing oil, and ordinary masking tape just would not stick. I had to use this red tape. Within a few hours it had lifted some of the colour out from the walnut and left a landing strip of lighter colour underneath it. It took some work to restore it. Probably my fault as this tape is really intended for loose surfaces rather than polished wood. But it was the only material that would do the job.
Normally use frog green, this was cheaper and better
