good sturdy product, I am not a plasterer by trade but found this product good and did what I needed. Left a smooth finish.
It's easy to handle and does a dreamy smooth finish, with skill of course!
Seems reasonably well made, stainless steel, fine for a diyer not sure if a pro would like it.
Very good trowel. Flexible so gives a good finish.
Fantastic bit of kit for the price, soft grip handle a bonus too
Great tool what you'd expect from marshaltown Great price from Toolstation,Great job well done
A quality product with a fine finish. Keep it clean
Good light weight trowel great value for money got me out of trouble
A great trowel with a nice smooth surface to a good finish
Ive have used this product before from a friend so thats why i putchased it reccomend
Worked well, applied 2 coats, will need a fill and sanding to be painted but quite pleased with the results. Have a bucket of water and brush handy to regularly clean the trowel and be patient before trying to smooth. Good tool for the diy-er without spending too much on a tool you won’t use often.
Ordered a 12" and you get a 14" for some unknown reason. However when i unwrapped it the trowel edge was bent, took back to store and the replacement was also bent. My advise don't buy. Pick another trowel..
Great quality bit narrow not recommend for beginners
Only really picked this up as trowels are getting so expensive and 15 quid was too tempting. Its basic compared to say the 75 pounds ive just spent on a top end Marshall town finishing trowel. But will do for places a proper trowel cant fit other than that its better to spend the extra money even for a diyer as you will get use in the future. This trowel has very little flexibility so not great.
I have some other pointing tools in this range which are decent and have lasted without rusting or fault and feel comfortable to use.
I give mine a quick clean with some sand when finished and they've lasted well. Would recommend.
Ideal for what l want it for being a DIY'er ie used intermittently so stainless steel is a must, and so far has served me well....
Nice, lightweight and easy to use. No need to prep the trowel prior to use.
I wouldn’t normally purchase a cheap trowel, but was needed urgently. I always use Marshalltown trowels & this didn’t let me down
Good starter or finishing trowel for plastering. Strong, compact and durable tool.
Had a finishing trowel already but was unsure as to its straightness, this is stainless, feels good in the hand and gave a good finish, even with my zero experience. Professional would probably have a different story seeing how much pro units are
