Great mud bucket, easy to hold, looks awesome and easy to clean
Pricy plastic tub. Bought it only because it was in stock. This is a £3 platic tub selling fir tge aame price as a stainless one.
Used these in USA so was surprised and pleased to find them in the UK. Comfortable to hold, and perfect for wide filler applications when using an appropriate trowel/spreader. The metal edges make it easy to clean off the trowel during use returning the filler to the pan ready for next load. What I like about this is it's easy to get the filter evenly on and off the trowel with minimum fuss and effort. It doesn't replace a hawk but is a very useful addition. It's also great for holding the trowel when you are between fills and it sits down unlike a hawk. I would recommend having one of these in your decorating tool arsenal.
Great for mixing a slightly larger amount of filler or plaster to patch an area. Liked the strips on sides to scrape your filling knife clean.
Makes a lot easy for small jobs. I am not a professional, but this little tool makes much difference in skimming.
Disappointed in this. There are metal strips set into the long edges of the pan to scrape filling blade on. The strips are painted mild steel so go rusty, and it’s difficult to dry them properly to avoid rust when cleaning up unless you pull the out of the plastic with pliars (as I eventually did). Rusty strips end up causing brown streaks in skim. To be fair skim will be painted, but I was expecting the strips to be stainless given how small (ie cheap) they are
Great product, it’s light weight and easy to handle. Metal sides ensure that you can scrape off and reuse any plaster left on your tools.

I don't know what you could say about a plastic pan, it does it's job. The sharp top edge is good for removing the excess material and it's made out a good quality material - some sort of metal.

Light weight and easy to use. Good for small jobs but if you are doing more plastering the normal metal one would better.
