Used this Mapei P9 adhesive as it states being good for porcelain tiles (which are not porous), and for outdoor use.
Mixed about a third of the bag at a time - as it was a hot day - and laid 2-3 large (600mm) tiles on a base of finely compacted stone. In order to prevent tile delamination, much adhesive was applied onto the back of the tiles.
This is remedial repair work for the same tiles laid about 3 years ago with regular mortar - but they had lifted!
The adhesive mixed well and has dried well, with an open pot time of about 45 mins on a hot day outdoors. Recommended…but a bit pricey for doing a large area!

I've used this adhesive a number of times with great success. Remains workable for a good length of time, handy when cutting tiles etc.
Excellent product, fixed outside wall coping stones with it and they are solid, very pleased as I’ve used sand and cement in the past and they have always become loose after a while, this I recommend highly 👍
Used this to tile entire bathroom including floor. Mixed it a little stiffer than recommended, as the tiles were quite heavy and tended to slip a little. Once I got the mix right they went on fine, stayed in position and was still able to reposition sometime later if needed. Set off in a reasonable time too

Only buy this tile adhesive of you're proficient at tiling. It cures in minutes. It is designed for professionals who need to tile and grout a room in a day. If you're merely OK at tiling then go for the ordinary Mapei (at half the price) and give yourself time to get things right. Tip: have your tiles ready and cut for the batch of mixed adhesive, be prepared before adding the water.

Have used Mapei P9 grout previously for the kitchen floor but not the express version. The Mapei P9 Express has a different ratio mix and definitely goes off faster in the bucket so I felt I had less working time. I ended up mixing smaller amounts at a time as I'm not a professional tiler! It is easy to mix and goes on really well. It cleans off easily too. I used the Mapei P9 Express on my hallway floor and the colour matches the kitchen. Will by this brand again for any other tiling projects. With regard to Toolstation - as always top notch service, I ordered via the app and collected almost immediately.

An excellent tile adhesive with only a short period to wait before grouting can be tackled. Don't forget the Mapei special primer which improves tile adhesion.
