The Makita UR016GZ 40V XGT Brushless Brush Cutter is a 330mm cutter that includes a hollow drive shaft to minimise weight. This incredibly powerful brush cutter is ideal for landscapers, council workers and highway maintenance teams. Thanks to the bicycle-style handle bar, which includes control joystick, the cutter is easily controlled and operated. Thanks to the design of this tool, it is perfectly balanced so that it can be used without strain. It features constant speed control, soft start and for your safety, electric brake along with an anti-restart function in case of battery failure. To further enhance the safety features of the tool, it also incorporates Active Feedback Sensing Technology AFT which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down With three speed settings up to 6500rpm no load speed, the UR016GZ also includes an ADT mode - Automatic Torque Drive Technology ADT meaning that this cutter intelligently adjusts its speed of rotation depending on the thickness of grass or brush its cutting. At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently. The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
