The Makita UR012G is a Cordless Brushless Brush Cutter powered by two 40v XGT Li-ion batteries in series. Features a soft start for smooth start-ups, with variable speed control and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load. It is equipped with electronic 3 speed settings, plus ADT mode, for high, medium and low to allow the operator to match the speed to the application. This brush cutter additionally features an electric brake for increased operator safety and electronic current limiter for overload protection. A reverse switch is used for the easy removal of grass clippings and tangled weeds and a rear end mounted motor is for optimum tool balance.
