Makita SP001GZ03 40V XGT Brushless 165mm Plunge Saw - Body & Case

The Makita SP001G 40V MAX XGT Brushless 165mm Plunge Saw is a powerful and impressive plunge saw that includes Auto-Wireless System (AWS) technology.

The saw runs at an impressive 4900rpm no load speed and accepts 165mm x 20mm blades.  The saw can bevel up to 48° - Its max cutting capacity at 0° is 56mm, 40mm at 40° and 38mm at 48°.  With impressively low vibration, the saw includes an electric brake, and soft start.  The variable speed control is set by a dial.

The saw also has positive stops commonly used bevel angles (22.5°, 45°), while offering constant speed control.  A depth stopper prevents splinters and delivering a smooth cut.  A rotatable dust nozzle so that it doesn’t interfere with user operation.

The plunge saw features Bluetooth connectivity – the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) will automatically start a compatible, Bluetooth enabled dust extractor at the same time as the saw.  This reduces and excess and dust spilling out and blocking the sight line.

At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the saw efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
