Couldn’t use it. Bought to cut tiles and when running the handle became too hot to hold. The vibrations were awful, making it impossible to hold securely and cut the tiles. Also it had a burning smell. Maybe have been a faulty product, either way I returned the item which Toolstation without question refunded the money. Disappointed as I’ve a few Makia products and had no issues with any of them.
Works well, however the disc key is inadequate and the blade was jammed in the mechanism when I tried to remove it once the job was finished. It was eventually removed but took over an hour and numerous attempts.
Powerful little machine. Works a treat. I would recommend it
Brilliant little tool, really good for the porcelain slabs. Not constantly changing batteries and enough power to rip through the 20mm tiles with out chipping them.
Great angle grinder, light and powerful, easy to use.
Excellent angle grinder. Slightly dearer than others but quality counts
great tool great price , works very well , good brand
Superb, versatile and powerful grinder at a convenient size
Nice and light to use easy to change the wheels a good make all round.
Grinder is great. A little underpowered for some tasks I do but great for small tile cutting etc.
I needed a second grinder to help with a large repointing job
As I already had one of these and I couldn’t fault it it automatically purchased another
Good grinder this my second makita grinder, the 1st one lasted 3 years so these tools are well made
Good high end product at a reasonable price . Decent length of lead and pretty powerful . Really pleased with this . I also rate makita
This is an excellent machine. I bought it to replace my older grinder. Well worth the extra. I wuld recommend this machine. D
Excellent tool, plenty of power and easy to handle because it is not heavy
Great product and good quality never let me down No1 grinder in my eyes
Perfect, can be held easily with one hand, rugged design
Bought this to replace an angle grinder with a seized switch due to dust. The action on the Makita’s switch is very smooth and easy to engage and disengage. This makes it feel a lot safer. Time will tell how well it stands up to dust.
It would be nice if the guard was quick release and if the handle could be mounted in a third orientation (perpendicular to the machine and not just left and right).
Very please so far - it has a reasonable sized case and comes with a few blades to get you started. Good value for the price.
Easy to grip . Not used a lot yet. This is to make up to required length. But it only makes me think is it worth the effort.
It's easy to use. Does the job well. Used to cut block pavers.
Only niggle is the on/off button is a bit fiddly.
