The DUR189 is the successor to the previous DUR184L grass trimmer. ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) adjusts speed and torque during operation for optimum performance, meaning that power is delivered when it is needed and reserved during lighter duty cutting. The DUR189 is powered by a Makita 18v LXT power tool battery for cordless freedom without the need for petrol. Combined with the ADT system, an energy efficient brushless motor means that battery drain is minimised, enabling you to work for longer on a single battery charge.
