The Makita DSP601 36V (Twin 18V) LXT Brushless Plunge Saw offers amazing cutting accuracy and versatility, powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system.

Boasting an impressive brushless motor with variable speed providing a no load speed of 2500-6300rpm, the 165mm diameter blade delivering an impressive 56mm max cutting depth capacity at 90° and an equally impressive 40mm max cutting capacity at 45°.

Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth, so the dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on.

Equipped with electronic speed control maintaining a constant smooth speed when under load providing a cleaner finish, together with soft start feature eliminating sudden movement on start-up that may misalign the position of the rail providing splinter free cutting.

Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) automatically changes the cutting speed according to load conditions for optimum operation. High speed rotation mode for light duty and high torque mode for heavy duty applications.

Positive stop for bevel adjustment from -1° to 48°, exact depth adjustment, depth stopper enables easy cutting of a preliminary groove at a depth of 2mm for splinter-free cutting, the flat outer guard allowing for close cutting only 18mm away from the wall.
