The Makita DPV300 18V Brushless LXT Sander/Polisher is part of the LXT range and gives you control over the speed and power while working. 
With an ergonomic soft grip to aid your comfort while working, this sander/polisher includes a lock-on switch to reduce fatigue and to maintain power.  The brushless motor increases the lifespan of the tool and reduces the need for constant maintenance.  With variable speed, control, the sander/polisher includes a mechanical 2-speed control, trigger lock as well as an anti-restart function for your safety.
The brushless motor also increases the life span of the LXT batteries and uses power sparingly so that you do not need to keep changing or recharging the battery between uses.
The DPV300 allows the use of 80mm hook and loop pads as well as 50mm twist on pads.
