The Makita cordless DHR281ZJW SDS+ rotary hammer drill comes with 3 mode function: Rotary only, Rotary Hammer and Chisel action (hammer only) & quick release chuck.

The DHR281ZJW is a powerful 28mm cordless Rotary Hammer, adapted for SDS+ bits, powered by two 18V Li-ion LXT slide type batteries (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 36V brushless motor. Including variable speed control to enable the user to match the speed of application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load.

Producing an awesome 2.8J impact power, 5000bpm, 980rpm no load speed, drilling up to max in concrete 28mm, max in steel 13mm & max drilling in wood 32mm.

Features include a one touch slide chuck for SDS+ bits and an easy grip ergonomic handle producing maximum power thrust and providing a sure and comfortable grip in any operation in any position.

The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings where the houses are joined with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. Unique rubber joint construction protects the battery terminals from vibration minimising breakage or battery failures.

As part of this kit you will also receive the DX09 dust extraction system that collects dust and debris at the source to save you time and hassle cleaning up after a job is done. We still recommend using a fully powered dust extractor to minimise any risk of inhalation yet the DX09 comes equipped with a HEPA filter so it is a fantastic step in the right direction!
