Makita DHR243Z 18V LXT Brushless SDS+ Drill - Body with Quick Change Chuck

The Makita DHR243 18V LXT Brushless SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill is an incredibly versatile tool with an interchangeable chuck from SDS+ to a 24mm 3jaw chuck.

The drill comes with 3 mode function: Rotary only, rotary hammer and chisel action (hammer only).  The power generated from this brushless motor causes the BHR242Z to drill as fast or faster than a 24V cordless combination hammer model with a reduction to energy loss by 30%.

The drill specs are impressive to read: delivering 2.0Joules of impact energy with 4700bpm impact rate.  The drill delivers 950rpm no load speed while have a 27mm drill capacity in wood, 24mm in concrete and 13mm in steel.

Features include a one touch slide chuck for SDS+ bits and a 1/2" keyless quick chuck. The easy grip ergonomic handle produces maximum power thrust and providing a sure and comfortable grip in any operation in any position.

The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings where the houses are joined with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. Unique rubber joint construction protects the battery terminals from vibration minimising breakage or battery failures.
