The Makita BL1021B is a 12V CXT lithium-ion battery delivering 2.0Ah capacity, designed for use with Makita's 10.8V and 12V Max CXT cordless tool range. This compact power source combines advanced battery technology with practical features for professional tradespeople and serious DIY users. Equipped with a 4-stage LED fuel gauge, the BL1021B allows you to monitor remaining charge at a glance, helping you plan your work and avoid interruptions. The battery features individual cell monitoring and an integrated protection circuit to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging and overheating, extending the battery's service life and ensuring reliable performance on site. Lithium-ion technology delivers up to 430 per cent more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad batteries, whilst being 40 per cent lighter than Ni-MH alternatives. The battery offers anytime charging with no memory effect and requires no discharging before recharging. Its lightweight, shock-absorbing construction is ideal for daily use on construction sites, workshop environments and field service applications. Low temperature performance ensures the battery remains functional in cold conditions, whilst minimal power depletion during use or storage maintains consistent output throughout its lifetime.
