solid piece of kit, shame it didn't come with any blades for the price
Great tool , for many jobs , cant be with out it as the 2nd one I have purchased .ideal for so may jobs from one tool . If you need a multi tool dont by cheap macita are good.
Well made and works as expected. The ability to change the angle of the cutting head helps when getting into difficult places.
Decided to go for wired option as will use only occasionally. Great power.
Easy to order and helpful staff
The only thing which is a disadvantage with this is the cable, but that’s because I was too cheap to buy the battery one. The tool itself is excellent, robust and consistent. It has got me out many a tight corner, from floor boards to metal pipes this thing does it all!
On my 2nd 1in 3 years of use.
Plunge cuts oak for hours.
Needs to breath tho
An effective machine ,quieter than the Bosch I had before.
Bought for a job and performed well. Heavy and feels robust. The allen key fitting is secure but will not be as quick changing blades as some others. Comes with good long and flexible cable. I'd recommend. The mains connection means it has good power and as all the places I'll be using it have mains, I wasn't wanting a battery version.
Brilliant bit of kit. Only draw back is the vibration kickback.
Great durability compared to other brands. Good for cutting in ‘hard to reach’ places.
Bought the Makita over the De-Walt as I wanted a more robust tool. Cuts well. No gripes, it’s a great tool. Wish I bought it years ago.
Great tool did the job no probs.
Great build quality...good cable length...more than adequate power. Comes in carton, but cant have everything.
Exactly what i wanted, dont need it that often so corded was fine and good value. Great service too.
This is my first multi-tool and it’s fantastic for doing all those tricky cutting jobs that nothing else can do. Cutting out some rotten panelling on the shed?.... perfect! Cutting a slot out of plastic guttering?...perfect! Cutting off a broken off nail flush or a screw that won’t budge?...perfect! Makita make great kit... not the cheapest but amongst the best.
Bought it and used it the same day to do a job. From the moment I opened the box it felt right. Robust, very long cable and thick too. Feels well made and it is very quite too. Previously I owned a Ryobi which became a headache, extremely noisy and the internal mechanism became worn out. But this Makita is a completly different league, although out of my normal price range for this type of tool it is worth every penny already.
Tried removing some grout with a hand took and gave up when I realised it was going to take me all weekend, just to do the shower. Read some reviews and bought thus beauty. Never used one before but was amazed at how well it cut through the grout. I rate Makita having been disappointed in the past by other major brands.
