How is this still being sold??

Had mine for a number of years, dust collection poor, grooves to guide mitre are an odd size and you can’t get any accessory to fit, therefore cannot upgrade the awful useless mitre guide. Worst of all is the fence, only clamps at one end, plus it’s so flexible resulting in inaccurate cuts. It’s expensive, too expensive given all of its design faults, which have been complained about for years. Have a look at YouTube for the number of attempts to make your own fence. Do not buy.

Slightly damaged Makita Saw

Although I am totally pleased with the saw the base was damaged. One of the corners had been snapped off presumably in transit. The damage did not affect the working of the saw which is wonderful. Just a shame the product was just slightly damaged

Upon receiving the Unit, my team swiftly set up the unit and only then discovered that it was the 240v DIY version. Working in a factory this needed to be a 110V version. when asking to exchange it or return it 4 hours after picking it up, we were told without the packaging that we couldn't return the goods. (Sadly, my team disposed of the packaging before I was made aware of the issue.)

I understand the reasoning but disappointed that no compromise could be had.
It was disappointing, and now we have a unit that can't be used in the factory owing to HSE Regulations.

good tool, seems sturdy but some alignment issues

seems like a strong tool, but one of the side plate isn't aligned properly, and can't be locked due to that
