Awesome bit of kit, I’ve got a 110v reciprocating saw but I needed to cut opening in stud wall 6 metres up on a cherry picker, so much easier with no power leads to worry about
Makita. That’s almost a one word review in itself however this recip is lovely to use (and I’ve used a few..) as the weight is well balanced and also the shaft has been covered with a rubbery/cushioned sleeve so you don’t feel like your wrist has just watched a Bonnie Blue documentary.

Very similar in size, weight and functionality to my previous model I thought power-off lock not as easy to use / instinctive as on my model. But fully satisfactory - hope it lasts as long as previous one (12 years)

I'd wanted one of these saws for a long time and picked up this one. I've cut through standard lumber, green wood, nails, square tube steel, copper pipe and even broke into my own shed with it when the key was lost by cutting through a large eye bolt, all without even slowing down. This thing has a lot of versatility for more than just demolition work, can be used for pruning, flush cuts, plunge cuts and loads more. This particular model is well made and it comes with a wood w/nails and a metal cutting blade. I got some of the Bosch wood and metal cutting flexible blades and I'd recommend them too
