These magnetic door holders are solid and easy to fit. I've used a few instead of cabin hooks now because they're much easier to use, especially where space is tight

Great item which stops door handles from hitting the wall and also holds the door open securely against draughts. The magnet is not too strong and releases the door when you need to close it.

Perfect for what I needed, good strong hold on an internal bathroom door. Could probably do with having some basic instructions included as it won't be obvious to everyone how to fit it.

Installed and looks great!! Absolutely would have given this product 5 stars had the screws going into the back of the door been of better quality. Took ages to get them in.

Bought two of these - first one worked great, holds back door and feels strong and positive in the connection. Second one a bit patchy and feels weak. Door often doesn't connect fully and needs a slow careful connect to keep it held back - not a fail but irritatingly picky

This is a handy device which works well. The degree of magnetism is just about right, enough to hold the door open securely but allowing for it to be opened without undue effort. I would have preferred a brushed rather than bright chrome finish but that's not a criticism. As has been mentioned elsewhere though, there are no instructions and it isn't at all obvious that the backing plate for the door attachment unscrews to remove it prior to screwing it to the door. Quite some time can be expended working that one out! Other than that it's a very useful and well finished item.
