Magnetic Contact Patio Door

Recently had a new backdoor fitted and need a nice new clean switch to match the door. This was an exact replacement and works perfectly.

Handy little unit, easily fitted and worked well. Works with either screws or double sided tape

Perfect replacement just make sure you photograph the original if possible to ensure you get the wiring correct

these are very neat unfortunately I was wanting to rewire them but they are sealed units

Compact, inexpensive and easy to connect up, very satisfied

This is a normally OPEN switch. That is, when the magnet is not near the contact, the circuit is not made, it is only when the magnet is brought close to the contact the circuit is made.
The Black and Blue wires are permanently connected (for an alarm tamper circuit).
The Red and Yellow wires are the normally open circuit.

The magnetic catch on my patio door fell off, broken after years and years of use. I was not optimistic that I could match it, but I found it at Toolstation. Other large tool stores did not stock them so I was delighted to find it. Many thanks !

Much better than other cheap magnetic contacts which aren't sealed and ready wired.

No idea what to do... bought as add on with alarm as recommended for patio doors and arrived with no instructions it makes no sense and no mention of it in Manuel for main alarm so is sat in a draw as used usual door contacts! Love to know how to fit!
