I'm not a plumber, but found this easy to install and it works well for connecting a washing machine to an existing cold feed.

Exactly what I needed to drop into a pipe run to get a cold feed for a washing machine, straight forward and easy to fit comes with red tap incase you have a hot feed to connect but don’t think there’s many around nowadays.
Bought to replace one that did not want to seal properly to the 3/4" outlet. Replaced with new item. Up and running with no leaks. Great stuff
Whilst this is at a fair price the valve is too sloppy with no resistance meaning it is very easy to accidentally turn it on
