Very good value when a quick replacement was needed. The plastic usually wears out or becomes brittle on these eventually, time will tell

Seems to work fine, needed quite a lot of force to cinch up to prevent weeping, but I'm a DIYer so what do I know :)

Washing machine isolation valve with non return valve. This valve satisfies the water regs and very economical price including in the pack are identifications for hot or cold.

Valve seems good but the hose connection sealing face is wide, meaning the bore is quite small. My washing m/c hose fitting had a lip to keep the rubber sealing washer captive and was proud of the washer but was a larger diameter than the bore of the valve sealing face. I thought this would prevent the washer from sealing so I cut it off - the disadvantage being that the washer was no longer held in place so I had to take care to ensure it was located properly before fitting the plastic nut.
This was installed and working well. A good non return valve all you need: nut+olive and additional red tap cover.

The surface area for the hose connector is much large than a standard valve making for a much better connection in my opinion.
Old connectors were weeping at joint. Brought 2 of these to replace them. Easy to fit and solved my problem. Good price as well.
